How We Can Help
OCD (Inc. Pure-Obsessional OCD)
OCD causes unwanted thoughts or images that trigger anxiety, leading to repetitive behaviours or mental rituals for relief. In Pure-O, these rituals happen in the mind — through rumination or checking — making the struggle invisible but just as real.
Stress & Life Transitions
Major changes — even positive ones — can leave you feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain. Whether it’s career shifts, relationship changes, or new life stages, therapy can help you process, adapt, and find stability through times of transition.
Anxiety & Panic Attacks
Anxiety feels like constant worry or tension; panic attacks bring sudden, overwhelming fear. Both stem from the brain’s alarm system misfiring — but with therapy, you can calm that system and reclaim your sense of safety.
Trauma (CPTSD & PTSD)
Trauma can leave lasting imprints on how we think, feel, and connect with others. Whether from a single event or long-term emotional wounds, it can create patterns of fear, disconnection, and hypervigilance. Therapy helps rebuild safety, trust, and self-compassion — allowing healing to unfold at your own pace.
Men’s Issues
Modern life can leave many men feeling lost, disconnected, or under pressure to hold everything together. Therapy offers a grounded, no-nonsense space to make sense of that weight — to rebuild direction, emotional strength, and clarity of purpose. It’s not about fixing what’s “wrong” with you, but helping you reconnect with what makes you feel strong, capable, and alive.
Depression
Depression goes beyond sadness — it can drain motivation, dull joy, and make even simple tasks feel heavy. It often develops from prolonged stress, loss, or self-critical thinking. With the right support, therapy can help you rediscover meaning, energy, and hope in daily life.
Relationship Issues
Relationships can be a source of both deep comfort and deep pain. Conflict, communication breakdowns, or patterns that repeat across partners often point to unmet emotional needs. Therapy helps you understand these dynamics, build healthier connections, and create relationships grounded in trust and mutual respect.
Protracted Antidepressant Withdrawal (PAWS)
PAWS can occur when the brain and nervous system take longer to readjust after stopping antidepressant medication. Symptoms may include waves of anxiety, depression, sensory changes, or fatigue that come and go over time. While recovery can feel unpredictable, therapy provides support, education, and grounding strategies to help you stabilise, rebuild confidence, and navigate healing with patience and care.

Online (Telehealth) sessions work much like in-person therapy — just from the comfort and privacy of your own space. You’ll receive a secure video link before each appointment, and with one click, you’ll be connected face-to-face with your psychologist. All sessions are completely confidential, Medicare-rebated, and designed to help you access professional support no matter where you live.
-
Yes. Research consistently shows that online therapy is just as effective as face-to-face sessions for most mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD. You’ll experience the same evidence-based support and personal connection — simply delivered through a secure video platform. Many people even find it easier to open up and stay consistent when therapy fits naturally into their day.

I work with adults and teens experiencing a range of emotional and behavioural difficulties, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and obsessive–compulsive disorder (OCD).
I also provide specialised support for individuals experiencing protracted antidepressant withdrawal syndrome (PAWS), helping clients understand and stabilise the psychological impact of withdrawal while rebuilding trust in their nervous system.
