Fees

The fee for all initial assessment and subsequent 50-minute sessions is $270.00 AUD.

If you are choosing to work with me under the Australian Government’s ‘Better Access Initiative’ via a mental health care plan from your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician, you will be eligible for the clinical psychology rebate for up to 10-sessions per calendar year. At present, the rebate for a clinical psychologist is $145.25 AUD. This means that your out-of-pocket cost under a mental health care plan will be $124.75 AUD per session.

Please note that a mental health care plan from your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician is not essential to work with me, and you may choose to attend privately. If so, your total out-of-pocket cost per session will be the full $270.00 AUD.

Your session rebate will be processed at the time of your session and immediately returned to your nominated bank account.

How to obtain a mental health health care plan:

  1. Visit your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician

  2. Request a mental health care plan

  3. Provide your attending medical professional with the following

    1. My name - Jake Ciminelli

    2. My email address - enquiries@greylightpsychology.com.au

  4. Email the completed mental health plan to me for processing

Private Health Insurance

The therapeutic and psychological services provided by Greylight Psychology may be partially covered by your private health insurance extras cover. If so, you will be provided with an invoice statement that can be used to access your extras cover via your provider.

Cancellation policy

If you are unable to attend a booked session or if you wish to reschedule, please provide me with at least 24-hours notice. If there is less than 24-hours notice provided for a cancellation or reschedule and there are no emergency and/or extreme circumstances, you will be charged the full fee amount. However, if I am able to fill the cancelled appointment spot with another client, you will not be charged.

For all emergency and/or extreme circumstances, discretion will be applied on a case-by-case basis.

Availability

Greylight Psychology operates almost exclusively as a telehealth service, meaning that you can work with me from anywhere within Australia.

However, if you live within a reasonable distance to the City of Melbourne and you have a strong preference for in-person support, I will certainly consider supporting you in this way. Please note, there may be additional costs per-session for therapy room hire.
