Fees

If you’re working with me under the Australian Government’s Better Access Initiative via a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) from your GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician, your out-of-pocket cost per 50 minute session is $124.75 AUD. This applies to initial and subsequent sessions for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. If applicable, your rebate is processed immediately after each session and returned directly to your nominated bank account.

Please note that a MHTP is not required to work with me, and you’re welcome to attend privately if you prefer. As such, your total fee for initial and subsequent appointments is $270 per 50 minute session, which remains well under the Australian Psychological Society’s recommended rate of $311 per 46 - 60 minute session.

How to obtain a mental health health care plan:

  1. Visit your GP, psychiatrist or pediatrician

  2. Request a mental health care plan

  3. Email the completed mental health plan to me for onboarding (enquiries@greylightpsychology.com.au)

Availability

Greylight Psychology operates exclusively as an online service, meaning that you can work with me from anywhere within Australia.

Session availability:

  • Saturday’s from 8am to 3pm

  • Select appointments Mon-Fri (contact me here for your preferred times)

Private Health Insurance

The therapeutic and psychological services provided by Greylight Psychology may be partially covered by your private health insurance extras cover. If so, you will be provided with an invoice statement that can be used to access your extras cover via your provider.

Cancellation Policy

If you are unable to attend a booked session or if you wish to reschedule, please provide me with at least 24-hours notice. If there is less than 24-hours notice provided for a cancellation or reschedule and there are no emergency and/or extreme circumstances, you will be charged the full fee amount. However, if I am able to fill the cancelled appointment spot with another client, you will not be charged.

For all emergency and/or extreme circumstances, discretion will be applied on a case-by-case basis.
