A little about Jake…

With over 10 years’ experience in mental health, I’ve supported people through some of their darkest moments, and helped them move toward real, lasting change. My approach is grounded in warmth, humour, and deep respect for your unique story. You’ll always be met with unflinching acceptance and genuine care.

I specialise in treating Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), including Pure-O, and work extensively with Schema Therapy to help shift entrenched patterns of self-criticism, emotional disconnection, and relational struggle. I also support recovery from anxiety disorders and am a strong advocate for informed consent and safe tapering when it comes to psychotropic medications.

While my work is foundationally evidence-based, I recognise that psychology can’t always explain the full picture. That’s why I take a broad, whole-picture approach, considering things like nutrition, lifestyle & nervous system regulation to better understand and address the challenges you're facing.

You don’t need to do this alone.

When you’re ready, I’m here to walk with you.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy- For anxiety, depression, and low self-worth

Focuses on identifying unhelpful thoughts and behaviours and shifting them to more realistic and helpful ones. Practical and goal-oriented.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy - For anxiety, shame, and inner struggle

Helps you stop fighting your thoughts and feelings and start building a meaningful life by acting on your values—even when things feel hard.
